It started out as a blog about a semester of reference practicum experiences...
and perhaps other interesting (to me) items. And it has evolved into life with critters - kitties and horses - and particularly dressage and my adventures with that. And other things that will be interesting as my thoughts take left turns and detours along the way. Join my adventure.

Prowling about I ran into this site that appears to have broad information...that might be useful for Senior Citizens among other groups. And it's located at a Library! http://www.youranswerplace.org/matls/govdocs/chi.html See if there is anything for your special group here.

I really liked that you mention caretakers. Because these cites should certainly be visited by family members as well. Some of those family members are caretakers. i would think they would want to take the time to visit some sites and gather some information.
This is great. I hadn't noticed this before but the MLA has a guide to evaluating websites. As I mentioned in another post, I'm not sure if seniors need more help evaluating or finding websites. But either way, it's great to have this on a CHI site. It even helps seniors evaluate the page they're currently viewing!
Twenty-five years ago the library became my work place. Every day it is fresh and new. Each day invites new opportunities and challenges.
I teach and train dressage, hunter/jumper on the flat and Natural Horsemanship.
I enjoy doing battle with garden weeds while trying to create a natural, "park-like setting" kind of view out the windows of my house.
7 kitties share my house with me...or rather they allow my presence because I know how to work the can opener.
